Ride Description and Notes:
It appears we will get some rain on Tues. and Weds., but Thursday looks promising.  I will get an e-mail out no later than 7:30 AM Thurs. with a go or no message (The ride will be at 9:00AM).  Our Thursday rides are casually paced, with multiple regroups, I will sweep and have some route sheets to share for those unable to download one.  We will ride "49er Double Cross", which is 21 miles and about 1650 ft. of climbing.  Join us for coffee and a small celebration after the ride at The Local Cafe!  Hope to see you Thursday!  Ron

Join me for this Wednesday ride that will take us to Auburn Folsom via SFCC's favorite Dick Cook tributary.  We'll then work our way back up Rock Springs toward Penryn where the Butler rollers await.  Then its up SCB to Twelve Bridges to Park.  We will eventually find ourselves meandering through some nice Rocklin neighborhoods before finding Pacific/Taylor road which will return us to the start.

I will plan on sweeping.  Regroup point(s) are yet TBD.

Thursday rides are hilly, shorter, more casually paced rides (usually around 20 miles with approximately 1800 feet of climb). Ride is swept and everyone more or less stays fairly close together. There are also numerous regroups on this ride. Currently, this ride is out of Meadow Vista Park in Meadow Vista. The last Thursday of the month starts out at Railhead Park in Auburn.

The rides usually start at Meadow Vista Park.  However, check the calendar for occasional changes to the start location.

Join us in Cordoza Park in Milpitas to start this ride.
We will meander along the foothills into/thru  Alum Rock Park.
 And then out and up to beautiful, spring flowered ride, to the top of GLORIOUS MT HAMILTON..53 miles & 5726 ft. of climbing!!

Bring coolers of your favorite food/beverages for the park after, even lunch! Or we can go down the street a mile, for a bite..

IF desired, there are a few hotels nearby for overnite stays.

You'll find some rides that are flattish and some that are killer hilly. The average pace of the Sunday rides varies hugely based on the distance and the amount of climb.
